November is Read-a-Thon Month
November is Denny I.M.S Read a Thon month. This is the biggest PTSA fundraiser of the year. Students will work with their literacy teachers to set reading goals for the month. At home students should collect pledges of money from friends & family toward those goals. If every student receives a minimum pledge of $10 we will raise $9000 toward teacher and club requests. Last year the money was put toward fulfilling teacher requests for items and experiences Denny students would not have otherwise had. Students will earn chances for prizes by meeting reading goals and by receiving a minimum pledge of $10.
Look for the Read a Thon pledge envelops to come home the last week of October! Any questions please contact co-chairs, Nicole Sipila at firstname.lastname@example.org or Cassandra O'Neal at email@example.com
